Privacy Policy for PAiTO

PAiTO is a lightweight bill-splitting app designed to help friends split shared expenses more fairly by creating rooms, joining with a link or QR code, recording arrival and departure times, and calculating split results.
1. Information We Collect
PAiTO may collect the following information when you use the app:
- Nickname or display name
- Room information, such as room name, currency, total amount, and split method
- Participation records, such as join time, arrival time, and departure time
- Split results and amounts calculated within a room
- Anonymous user identifier generated by our authentication provider
- Basic technical information necessary for app functionality and security
PAiTO does not collect payment card information, bank account information, precise location data, contacts, photos, microphone data, or advertising identifiers.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information only to provide the core features of PAiTO, including:
- Creating and managing rooms
- Allowing users to join shared rooms
- Recording attendance and participation time
- Calculating fair split results
- Displaying room history and user-related records
- Maintaining app security and reliability
We do not sell user data. We do not use user data for advertising. We do not track users across other apps or websites.
3. Data Sharing
PAiTO uses third-party service providers to operate the app, including Supabase for authentication, database storage, and backend infrastructure.
Your data may be processed by these service providers only for app functionality, hosting, security, and reliability.
We do not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Data Retention
Room data, attendance records, and split results may be stored so users can access their rooms and history.
Users may request deletion of their data from within the app or by contacting us.
5. Account and Data Deletion
If you want to delete your PAiTO data, you can use the data deletion option inside the app, or contact us at: hello@vlactea.com
Deleting your data may remove your profile, rooms you created, participation records, and related split information, unless retention is required for legal or security reasons.
6. Children’s Privacy
PAiTO is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
